Dr. Jamie Reynolds
Dr. Jamie Reynolds is a dynamic and dedicated professional and one of the nation’s leading voices on high-tech and accelerated orthodontics. He is a leading authority in his field, an in-demand speaker, a relentless innovator, and a successful private-practice orthodontist at Reynolds Orthodontics in Novi, Rochester Hills, Troy, and West Bloomfield, Michigan. He is one of the most experienced doctors in the world with both the Damon System self-ligating braces and Spark Aligners, and has treated over 30,000 patients to date in his career.
Dedicated to bringing the best in orthodontic care to his local community and beyond, he co-founded OrthoFi to help make cutting-edge orthodontic treatments an affordable option for more people, and the metro-Detroit chapters of Smile for a Lifetime and Smiles Change Lives, two national foundations that provide “smile scholarships” for children of low-income families. In 2018, he founded Project Mariposa, a local philanthropic effort aimed at growing into a national orthodontic treatment charity that has donated over 1.4 million dollars in local smile scholarships to date.
In 2019, he again partnered with Dr. Jeff Kozlowski to co-found Orthodontic Partners, a national group orthodontic practice focused on helping doctors provide best practices from a clinical and business process standpoint.
Dr. Reynolds is regularly interviewed by the media and has been featured in US News and World Report Health, Woman’s World Magazine, and New York Daily News, the Mojo in the Morning show, among others. A “Certified Damon Educator" and has been a featured speaker at most ORMCO Forums, and is the only doctor to receive Hour Detroit Magazine's “Top Orthodontist” awards every year the award has been given (2009-present).
Dr. Reynolds received his undergraduate and dental degrees from the University of Michigan and his master’s degree in orthodontics from the University of Detroit-Mercy. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists, and travels across the country and around the world to lecture, as well as for continuing education, to lead and stay abreast of the latest orthodontic technology and trends.

Dr. Jenn Bonamici
Dr. Jennifer Bonamici grew up on the island of Grosse Ile, Michigan where she graduated as her class Valedictorian. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Human Biology at Michigan State University and still enjoys cheering on the Spartans! At graduation, she was awarded the Board of Trustees Award for graduating in the top 1% at MSU. Dr. Bonamici decided to further her education in the field of dentistry and attended the University of Detroit Mercy. While she was in dental school, she earned the National Award of Excellence from the American Student Dental Association for her dedication to patient care and for her involvement in various organizations. She proceeded to attend the University of Minnesota for her orthodontic residency where she was elected to be her class representative. After graduation, she moved back home to the Metro-Detroit area and married her husband, Benjamin Underwood. Dr. Bonamici is a board-certified orthodontist and an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Michigan Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and Michigan Dental Association. Dr. Bonamici loves spending time golfing, cooking new recipes, trying new restaurants, traveling, and enjoying outdoor activities in all of Michigan’s four seasons.
Dr. Andrei Taut
Dr. Andrei Taut was born in Romania and raised in Sterling Heights, Michigan where he attended Sterling Heights High School and the Macomb Mathematics Science and Technology Center. He received his undergraduate and dental degrees from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Go Blue! While he was in dental school, he was heavily involved with research and volunteer dental care for children of low-income families through Give Kids a Smile and Special Olympics. Dr. Andrei then went on to complete a residency to receive his master's and certificate in orthodontics from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Andrei is also an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Board of Orthodontics, Michigan Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association and enjoys staying up to date on new technology and orthodontic research. Outside of the office, Dr. Andrei enjoys spending time with his wife Shannon, who is a pediatrician in Northville, two children - Ella and Declan - and furry goldendoodle child Murphy. He also enjoys playing tennis, CrossFit, watching documentaries, traveling and experiencing all cultures, and anything related to sports and the Michigan Wolverines.
Dr. Jensen Pecora
Dr. Jensen Pecora grew up in Novi, Michigan and developed an early interest in healthcare and service. She attended the University of Michigan–Dearborn, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Health Policy. During her undergraduate studies, she participated in a dental mission trip to Honduras, an experience that solidified her passion for dentistry and serving others.
Dr. Pecora went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. While in dental school, she was actively involved in leadership and research, serving as President of the College of Dental Medicine and President of the Orthodontics Club. She was selected for the ADEA Academic Dental Careers Fellowship Program and presented her research at the International Association for Dental Research (IADR). During this time, she also participated in a humanitarian dental mission trip to Jamaica, providing care and education to underserved communities. After graduating dental school, she earned her Master of Science in Orthodontics from Seton Hill University Center for Orthodontics in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
Following the completion of her specialty training, Dr. Pecora was excited to return home to Metro-Detroit and serve the community that shaped her. Having once been a patient at Spillaine and Reynolds Orthodontics, she understands firsthand the lasting impact of a confident smile. She remains actively involved in organized dentistry and orthodontics as a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), the Michigan Association of Orthodontists (MAO), and the Michigan Dental Association (MDA). Through ongoing education and professional engagement, Dr. Pecora is committed to delivering evidence-based care and building meaningful relationships with her patients and their families.
Outside of the office, Dr. Pecora enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, cooking, spending time outdoors, making memories with family and friends, and relaxing at home with her two cats.
Dr. Larry Spillane (Founder Emeritus)
DR. LARRY SPILLANE grew up in Livonia, MI and attended Detroit Catholic Central High School. After high school, Dr. Spillane attended the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and received his undergraduate (BA-Pyschology) and Dental School (D.D.S.) degrees. He went on to complete a three-year residency program to earn his Master’s degree also from the University of Michigan. Obviously, after 11 years, Dr. Spillane is a big UM fan. Go Blue!
Dr Spillane opened his first orthodontic practice in Novi(1991). In 2002, Dr. Jamie Reynolds joined the practice and together they expanded to 4 offices and 50+ Team members. Throughout 30+ years, Dr. Spillane has helped create a legacy of world-class orthodontic care, education of orthodontists and philanthropy to help our community.
Dr. Spillane retired in 2020. He would like to thank all his patients, families and team members for their trust and confidence in allowing him the opportunity to help create thousands of Amazing Smiles over the years.
In retirement, Dr. Spillane will enjoy more free time with his wife, Stephanie, as well as golf, pickleball and boating in Northern Michigan and Florida.

The Spillane & Reynolds story began in 1991, when Dr. Spillane opened the first Spillane Orthodontics location in Novi, Michigan. Due to the rapid growth of this office, Dr. Spillane found a trusted partner in Dr. Jamie Reynolds. Here, the dream team of Spillane & Reynolds Orthodontics began.
Spillane & Reynolds Orthodontics has since opened convenient locations, including Rochester Hills, West Bloomfield, and Troy, MI. With the expansion of additional locations, the family of Spillane & Reynolds Doctors and the team also grew. Our board-certified doctors take pride in being leaders in the profession, participating in leading-edge clinical trials, and lecturing internationally on the latest clinical and efficiency technology in the profession.
Dr. Spillane retired in 2019, which led to a revision of the practice name a few years later. As we move forward as Reynolds Orthodontics, we are as committed to patient excellence and industry-leading orthodontics as the day we opened our doors thirty years ago. Our mission remains the same: to Deliver Amazing with all that we do. It has always been our goal to be the most philanthropic orthodontic practice in the Midwest. We partner with non-profit Smiles Change Lives, providing orthodontic scholarships to families in need-treating more charitable orthodontic cases than anyone in Michigan. We proudly celebrate a Season of Giving each year, partnering with local chapters of five different non-profits annually.
